Striae Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 5, 2026

The short version: Striae collects nothing. There are no accounts with us, no analytics, no ads, and no tracking. Your music, your credentials, and your listening history stay on your device and on servers you control.

Who we are

Striae is a music player app for iOS, iPadOS, and Apple Watch that streams music from media servers you own or control — Plex, Jellyfin, and Subsonic-compatible servers. It is developed independently and operates no backend services of its own.

What we collect

Nothing. Striae does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with the developer or with third parties. The app contains no analytics frameworks, no advertising SDKs, no crash-reporting services, and no tracking of any kind.

Where your data lives

Everything Striae knows about you stays under your control:

Services the app talks to

Striae communicates only with services you choose and configure:

Children

Striae is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Your rights

Privacy regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over data that companies hold about you. Striae's developer holds no data about you, so there is nothing to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. To remove everything Striae stores locally, delete the app; to remove play history synced to your media server, use your server's own tools.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of Striae ever changes what data is handled — for example, adding optional crash reporting — this policy will be updated before that version ships, and the "Last updated" date above will change.
